SCC Softball Loses Two Games in NWAACC Softball Championship
SCC Softball Loses Two Games in NWAACC Softball Championship:

A tough day on Friday, May 18th,  for the Lady Dolphin Softball Team. SCC was no-hit in their opening game against Clackamas Community College, losing 8-0 in six innings. Clackamas would go on to win the NWAACC Softball Championship.

In Game 2, SCC was down 2-0 against Walla Walla CC but came back to tie it up 2-2, but then WWCC scored 9 runs in two innings to finish off the Dolphins and end the 2012 season for SCC.

SCC finished the season 19-20-2 overall, 14-10 in the NWAACC Northern Region and in 4th place. But it was the 5th straight time the SCC squad had qualified for the NWAACC Championship and SCC had either won the region or finished second during past 3 seasons.

Thanks to the SCC Softball Sophomores, good job ladies and good luck in the future.
