Employee Bio

Ginger Villanueva has been advising international students since 1999. Her passion for intercultural experiences was sparked by living and working abroad for three years and loves that her career now brings the world to her. She is excited to help students adjust to life in Shoreline and prepare for successful careers.
Ginger's undergraduate majors were Spanish and German, and she earned a master's degree in Higher and Post-secondary Education. She is a member of NAFSA (Association of International Educators) Trainer Corps and regularly teaches other international education professionals regarding academic advising and F-1 immigration regulations. She has also served as the Chair of the Association of Washington International Student Affairs (AWISA).
