Employee Bio

Rosie Bellert graduated in 1974 from Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene Program, earned a Bachelor Degree at the University of Washington in 1981 and completed her Master Degree in Education at University of Washington Bothell in 2014.
Rosie started her teaching career shortly after graduation instructing in the Shoreline Dental Hygiene restorative clinic. She has extensive experience in restorative dentistry and has also taught Dental Anatomy, Restorative Materials and Procedures and Advanced Pain Control.

Rosie is a recipient of the 2011 Sunstar "Dental Hygiene Award of Distinction" presented annually at the “Under One Roof” Dental Hygiene Convention.
Rosie also received the 2011 Summer Institute Award with the International Education Advisory Committee (IPAC) for initiating a Dental Hygiene Study Abroad affiliated with Smiles Forever Dental Hygiene School in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Currently she is the Dental Hygiene Program Director and clinical instructor for second year clinic.
