Employee Bio

Meg Stecker-Thorsen - Soprano - is the recipient of numerous awards, including three with the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions, and has performed with various symphony orchestras and opera companies in the United States.  She received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in vocal performance from the University of Wisconsin and the State University of New York.  Meg has taught at several universities and colleges throughout the U.S. and has produced and directed many musicals productions.  She is an active adjudicator, and teacher in the area.  She servers as the Vocal Coordinator of the SCC vocal program, and teaches class voice, diction, performance techniques, voice-dance, and private lessons.
