Employee Bio

Paul has taught logic at Shoreline Community College since 1983. He received his Ph.D in philosophy from the University of Washington. He is the author of Reason and Worldview: An Introduction to Western Philosophy (New York: Harcourt Brace College Publishers, 1999); The Many Worlds of Logic, 1st edition, (New York: Harcourt Brace College Publishers, 1993); The Many Worlds of Logic, 2nd edition, (New York: Oxford University Press,  2003); Introduction to Logic (New York: Oxford University Press, 2011); and Think With Socrates. An Introduction to Critical Thinking (Oxford University Press, 2014). He currently serves as President of the State of Washington Association of Community College Philosophy and Logic Teachers.
