Employee Bio

I recently finished my postdoctoral fellowship in the Raber lab in the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). I attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for his undergraduate degree where I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. It was there he found his love for biomedical research through various internships. I further pursued my graduate work at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, where I completed my PhD in Biomedical Research with a concentration in Cancer Biology, in the Department of Biochemistry and Cancer Biology. There he studied the role of type II anti-diabetic drugs on post translational modifications of c-Myc protein in prostate cancer. After my graduate work was completed, I started my first postdoctoral research position at New York University in the Department of Basic Science & Craniofacial Biology where I expanded on my graduate studies.
